Due to the extreme cold, the diesel buses won't run. No school today.
Rich Hill Elementary is sending out 3 days worth of AMI packets in your child's backpack in the event we exceed our built in snow days. Please keep these until the end of the school year just in case we have to utilize those AMI days.
The Rich Hill R-IV School Board is seeking bids for snow and ice removal from main campus school parking lots (student lot, high school circle, dome, and loading dock area) for the remainder of the season as needed. The bid amount requested would be per incident. A separate amount for sidewalk clearing would be considered if presented on the bid. Bids are due in Central Office by January 31 at 3pm. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
February 2025 Basketball Events
The Tigers will take the court tonight (1/14/2025) at the Appleton City Basketball Tournament. Both teams will play Hume. The girls play at 7:00 pm and the boys at 8:15 pm.

Currently we have 4 bus routes in the morning. The evening will vary between 3 and 4 routes so drop off times may be off by as much as 20 minutes depending on whether a driver is available for the 4th route. Thank you for your patience.

Due to road conditions and extreme temperatures in the morning, there will be no school on Thursday. Tomorrow will be a work day for all staff except bus drivers and cooks. Little Cheer Camp Update!
New Date: Little Cheer Camp will be Tuesday, February 4 - Thursday, February 6. The performance will be Monday, February 10. Thank you!
Due to road conditions and low hanging, ice covered trees, there will be no school on Wednesday. With low temperatures and more snow moving into the area, Thursday is doubtful, but a final decision will be made tomorrow afternoon. Administration, custodial and maintenance, and secretaries report from 9am to 2pm.
Classes and all activities are canceled for Tuesday, January 7, 2025 due to the condition of roads and extreme temperatures.
Basketball Update! Due to the weather, the High School Girls game at Bronaugh has been cancelled for Monday, January 6th.
Due to ice and power outages, campus will be closed for all staff and students Monday. A decision about Tuesday will be made Monday afternoon.
Weekend Basketball!
Junior High Boys play in the Drexel Tournament Championship Game tonight (12.20.2024) against Archie in the Drexel Main Gym at 8:15 pm.
High School Lady Tigers will play in the 7th place game in the Butler Tournament tonight (12.20.2024). The ladies will play Raytown in the Aux Gym at 5:00 pm.
High School Tigers will play in the 3rd place game in the Main Gym in Butler tomorrow (12.21.2024). The boys will play Metro at 11:00 am.

Little Cheer participants! Be sure your forms are turned in to the office by this Friday, December 20th! The little cheer performance will be on January 10th.
