FCCLA members spent the morning volunteering at Harvesters Food Network. We packaged 1,160 Back Snack meals and donated 152 pounds of canned goods.
Harvesters is the organization that supplies our elementary Back Snack program. This was a great opportunity for our students to give back!
Due to the forecasted thunderstorms this evening, the Powder Puff Football Game has been rescheduled for Friday November 2 at 6PM. We will see you there! All proceeds go to the Querry Family. Please disregard the previous message about playing the game in the dome.
Costume contest this Wednesday! To enter, students must bring 3 canned goods. All donations will be given to Harvesters Food Network. No masks or weapons allowed, and costumes must be school appropriate.
The high school band is in front of Food Fair from now until 12:00! Come buy some cookie dough or just come to listen! We are raising money for a new bari sax!
Parent Teacher conferences are this Thursday, October 25th from 1-7 pm. Your student's grades and any outstanding bills will be available for pick up as well as any help needed for FAFSA. Make sure to stop by and see all the great things your student are doing. #ProudToBeATiger

A few of our Junior and Senior FCCLA students spent the day at FCS (Family & Consumer Sciences) Career Day offered by Pittsburg State University. They learned about the various career opportunities within FCS, as well as opportunities available at PSU.

FCCLA Region 12 meeting was today. Our students heard from guest speaker Aric Jackson who inspired them to break out of their box, be themselves, and make a difference. To top it off, the Tigers were voted “Best Dressed” for our t-shirt design!
