Attention Summer School Parents: This is a friendly reminder that if your child misses any day within a given week, they will not be eligible to attend the Thursday field trip during that week. As all staff will be participating in the field trips, please keep your child at home if they are not eligible to attend.

Each year, the Rich Hill Alumni Association inducts a retired teacher into the Rich Hill Teacher Hall of Fame. Votes are collected in person at the alumni banquet, and this year we've added a digital survey as well. Graduates will have the opportunity to vote for one of three nominated teachers, and will then nominate their own choice of teacher to be included in next year's vote. A list of past recipients is included in the survey. The award recipient will be announced in the summer of 2026. Voting is set to close on July 1.

This is Superintendent Kevin Goddard with an important announcement from the Rich Hill School District regarding summer school and bus transportation. It is not too late to attend summer school. Any child going into kindergarten through 8th grade can enroll on Monday, June 2 at the elementary office. There will be 3 bus routes, East, West, and Town. Two of us will be new drivers, so please be patient as we learn the routes. Route times will be close to the normal year times although the first day may be a little slow. I will be driving the Foster route and will be in Foster at about 6:55am give or take 5 minutes. I will also back along walnut and park streets around 7:25 and pick up students south of the elementary between 7:30 and 7:35. Again, please be patient on the first day and watch for the bus within a fifteen minute window of what you are used to. Thank you and have a great weekend!

With Appreciation from the Rich Hill R-IV Board of Education
The Rich Hill R-IV School District would like to recognize and thank Mr. Lynn Morgan for his 24 years of service in education, including 15 years at Rich Hill as a high school history teacher and basketball coach.
Throughout his career, Mr. Morgan has been a steady and committed educator and coach. As a head basketball coach for 15 years—9 of those at Rich Hill—he compiled a career record of 242 wins and 135 losses. His teams earned 5 conference championships, 5 district titles, 3 district runner-up finishes, and made 1 state quarterfinal appearance. During his time at Rich Hill, he led the Tigers to 2 of those district titles, 2 runner-up finishes, and 2 conference championships.
Mr. Morgan brought consistency and a competitive spirit to our athletic programs, and he worked hard to support the growth and development of his students both in the classroom and on the court. His presence will certainly be missed at Rich Hill.
The Rich Hill R-IV Board of Education sincerely thanks Mr. Morgan for his years of dedication and service. We wish him the best in his retirement.
