Student Council came to the school board and asked members to consider changing the parent pick-up and drop-off pattern back to the way it was done before COVID required some changes.
There were several fender benders and some near misses with middle school students almost being run over as they ran to their parent's car.
The students were also concerned for Dr. Gilbert's welfare when he is dealing with a student issue and a driver may not see him as easily.
They presented some suggestions and with the help of their sponsor, they have drawn up a map which all student drivers will be expected to follow. The map is attached. A separate article will address the changes to parent pickup and dropoff.
