
The elementary students have had a couple of visitors lately during breakfast. Thank you to Officer Johnson and our “Tiger” mascot for spending time with our kiddos!





5th and 6th graders headed to Archie Math Competition. Wish us luck!


The kindergarten classes had a special visitor today! Ms. Linda loves Dr. Seuss books so she came and read one to us! She read her favorite, “The Foot Book”, and then we measured our feet using different objects. Thanks, Ms. Linda!



More 100 point earners in 6th Grade.


The kindergarten classes had fun celebrating the first day of Dr. Seuss week by reading “There’s a Wocket in my Pocket” and making wockets!


Mrs. Jennings first graders are doing some crazy science this week with States of Matter. Blowing up balloons with Baking soda and vinegar today!

Kindergarten Valentine activities are taking place!



The Valentine's Day party is tomorrow, February 14th, at 2:15 pm.


1st - 6th grade students interested in participating in the Elementary Science Fair need to return the proposal form to Mrs. Sturdevant by Friday, February 15th. The Project Guide can be found on the school website under RH Elem-Menu-Documents or picked up in the office.

Ms. Ackerman's 5th grade! If your child wants to create a Valentines box for our party (2/14), they may do so! We won't make them at school but they can bring one in as they please. I'll be sending a note home with all students' names for Valentines the next time I see the kids!

After-school tutoring is cancelled for all elementary students at Rich Hill R-IV Elementary School. Road conditions are still decent but the temperature could drop, resulting in freezing rain later this afternoon.

Newest members added to the 100 AR points club in 6th grade! Reading pays off!


Kindergarteners are leaning about shapes and attributes of shapes. After recess, they each found vertices to sit on! Then they found the circle!




Who said 5th graders shouldn't celebrate the 100th day of school?!? These kiddos have put in a lot of hard work over the past 100 days of school!!

Kindergarten - 6th grade students traveled to Nevada on Thursday to watch “The Grinch” for their reward of reaching 10,000 AR points by the end of the 1st semester! Awesome job, kids!!! We are so proud of the great job you all are doing practicing your reading skills and becoming super readers!
