
Tisha Mackey served her way into the state record book during the district tournament two weeks ago. In the contest against Hume, the junior outside hitter logged 11 total aces throughout the match (8th all-time), 9 of which came in a single set (4th all-time). The Hume Tournament bracket has been revised due to insufficient numbers by multiple teams. The Rich Hill JH boys will now depart the school at 5:00 pm today, 11/3, and play at 6:00 pm.

Hume Tournament Update
The boys will play at 7:30 on Tuesday (not 9:00).
The girls won their first game and will play at 6:00 on Wednesday.

Hume Tournament Guidelines
Admission: $4/adult, $2/student
Time: Games will not start before their scheduled time and fans may NOT arrive early. The gym will be cleared out and sanitized between games.
Facial Coverings: Required when physical distancing is not possible.
Distancing: Required when possible.

Sectional volleyball will be played in Appleton City today! The first game will start at 12:30 with the RH game to follow at 2:30. The winners of those games will play at 4:30. Notes: Admission is $7, seating areas will be assigned, masks are recommended. Let’s go Lady Tigers! 🐅 🏐

The Class 1 Sectional 3 portion of the Volleyball State Tournament Bracket is set! Competition will begin in Appleton City at 12:30 with Greenfield taking on AC. The Lady Tigers will follow at 2:30 with a game against the New Haven Shamrocks. Both winning teams will then play in the quarterfinal round at 4:30. The District Championship game is underway! RH vs. Miami


The Lady Tigers defeated Hume in four sets to earn the right to play for the district title! I’m about an hour, they will take on the winner of the Miami/NEVC game being played now.

The Class 1 District 10 Volleyball Tournament begins this evening. Since this is a MSHSAA tournament, admission is $5 and no passes will be accepted. A facial covering is required to enter and must be worn when moving around the facility. Each school will have an assigned seating area where masks can be removed. The JH basketball season begins in one week!



This week in athletics, postseason play begins! The Class 1 District 10 volleyball tournament starts on Tuesday at Rich Hill. The Lady Tigers have a first round bye, and will take the court Wednesday at 5:00. The Tiger football team will begin 8-man playoffs at Liberal on Friday at 7:00.



The Lady Tigers won all three games today in straight sets. Also, Katie Tourtillott’s 1000th set was recognized in front of our home crowd. It’s a great day to be a Tiger!


The following guidelines will be adhered to at the WEMO and district tournaments hosted at Rich Hill.
1. Masks are required to enter.
2. Spectators will sit in assigned seating areas.
3. Masks may be removed when seated in the proper area.
4. Masks are required when on the move and in common areas.
