
All after school activities for today, 2/15, have been cancelled.

The Tigers travel to Lakeland on February 16 for basketball contests. The varsity girls play at 5:30 and the varsity boys will follow. There is an attendance limit of 50 visiting spectators. Each player has two tickets to distribute, and only those with tickets will be granted admittance. All spectators will sanitize hands upon entry and sign in on a contact tracing sheet. Facial coverings are required by all spectators at all times. Visitor seating will be behind the visitor bench. No gatherings are permitted after the game.

Mark your calendar! There are several special events happening in conjunction with the home basketball games against Archie on February 19. During halftime of the varsity girls game, Archie and Rich Hill will join forces in a friendly "fast cash" competition to raise funds for Team Thomas. Basketball players from each school will race through their respective crowds collecting cash to assist Coach Brian Thomas as he fights cancer. At the conclusion of the girls game, we will hold a Wall of Honor induction ceremony. Class of 2018 graduate Jacob Querry will be honored for his accomplishments on the track. In our first ever induction of coaches, Jerry Cornelius and Brian Thomas will be recognized for their illustrious careers at RHHS. Finally, the high school cheer squad will perform a special halftime show during the varsity boys game. Come join us for a great night of basketball and special events!

Schedule Update
HS Basketball at Appleton City on Friday, 2/12 will start at 5:00 pm with a bus departure of 3:45. No JV quarters will be played. There is a spectator limit of four per student athlete. All spectators will sign in under the name of their student upon entry.

Class 1 District 7 Basketball Tournament brackets have been released. First round games for the boys and girls will be played at Rich Hill.

2/9 Activities Update: HS basketball games to be played at Drexel this evening have been cancelled. Coaches will communicate with players about an optional practice this afternoon.

All after-school practices planned for today, February 8, have been cancelled. There will be no extracurricular activities today.

The Courtwarming Pep Assembly is ready to begin!



It's Courtwarming Day! Come fill the stands with red and blue in support of our Tigers as they take on the Midway Vikings at 5:30. Special events tonight include the junior class silent auction, after prom frappes and cookies, and coronation at halftime of the varsity boys game.

The JV basketball games scheduled for February 8th have been cancelled. Jayhawk Linn is unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict. Unfortunately, these contests will not be rescheduled.

The junior high scholar bowl team is competing in their first meet of the season. Good luck, Tigers!


Congratulations to senior Clifton Bridgewater for scoring his 1,000th career point last night!



The high school basketball teams will play in the Archie Tournament this week. There is an attendance limit of 100 spectators per team each night. Tickets will be given to players to distribute among family and friends. Fans will need to use the south entrance for games played in the small gym and the west entrance for games played in the dome.



The girls basketball team will wrap up the Appleton City tournament tomorrow, 1/23. They are taking on Osceola at 5:30 pm in the 3rd place contest. There is an attendance limit of three spectators per player. All fans will need to sign in upon entering. Good Luck, Lady Tigers!

The high school basketball teams travel to Adrian tomorrow to take on the Blackhawks. Games will begin at 5:30 with 1/2 JV boys, V girls, then V boys. There is an attendance limit of two spectators per player. Fans must sign in under the player's name at the entrance.

Archie Tournament Brackets



Following an extra day of rest, we hope to see a large crowd at the basketball games on Tuesday night! Come prepared to support the players and some worthy causes. The junior class parents will be serving cookies and frappes to raise funds for after prom festivities. There will also be a Team Thomas 50/50 raffle with all proceeds going to assist Coach Thomas in his fight to beat cancer. Let’s fill the stands with blue as the Tigers take on Osceola!

The Appleton City Tournament games scheduled for this evening, 1/15, have been postponed. A make up date has not yet been determined. Tomorrow's contests will proceed as planned.

Spectators attending the Appleton City Tournament, please remember that masks are required to enter and move around the facility. You may remove your facial covering when seated in the bleachers.
