The JH/HS Principal Corner (1/22/21)

Good afternoon and happy Friday!!!

We have had a great week in the building and looking forward to some basketball tonight! I want to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation as we continue to trudge through the pandemic. The transition to phase orange today was as smooth as is possibly can be and both staff and students are doing what they can to keep the school year moving forward. Although there are times it is very easy to get negative due to the pandemic, I have to remember that every day that we are in the building is a blessing and we are very blessed to continue to move forward in this school year. Here are a few updates for the week:

The Board has approved out of town dates to be allowed into dances. We will utilize our usual process of signing up out of town dates in the office and follow standard procedures for their approval.

Archie Tournament starts next week. Please refer to brackets that can be found at This Week in a Glance  at https://www.richhill.k12.mo.us... for game times and Go Tigers!!!

Courtwarming is February 5th vs. Midway. Please stay tuned for more details on the event.

3rd quarter mid-term is February 5th. Please be checking in on your kiddos grades on Canvas.

Lastly, we as a district please ask if you pick up your children from the student lot at the end of the school day (north lot), that you please turn right out of the parking lot while the buses are still present. This helps the flow of traffic tremendously at the end of the school day. Once the buses have departed, turning left is not an issue. Thank you for your cooperation.

That is it for the week and please remember that it is always a great day to be a Tiger!!!
