Tiger Graduation Announcement

Graduation Update!

The Rich Hill High School Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremony/Parade is scheduled for 6:00 PM on May 8th in the beautiful downtown Circle Park of Rich Hill, MO. A graduate parade (Parade Map Attached) will start at the high school at 6:00 PM and finish at the east end of the circle park. The seniors will need to be at the school parking lot, in their cars, at 5:20 PM. Seniors and families, please feel free to post signs or decorate your car as you see fit (think Homecoming Queen-style).  Parents may, of course, ride along in the car with their senior. Graduating seniors will begin the processional with their parents on the east end of the circle park’s brick path. (We have reserved the south side of the Baptist Church for all senior vehicles to be parked during the ceremony.)  Each senior and their parents will have a park bench assigned to them for seating during the ceremony.  As soon as the graduate's name is called, parents and the graduate will rise and move onto the bandstand where the parent will present the diploma.  The extended family will be able to be present in the park but will need to abide by CDC physical distancing guidelines.  All of the graduate's scholarship and award information will be announced during graduation and posted on social media after the ceremony.  The ceremony will be streamed live via Facebook, and the link will be shared out via the school's website and social media outlets.

Rain dates for graduation are May 9, 10, and 15. We will try to make the weather call by Wednesday afternoon but may have to wait if the weather is volatile.
