Dr. John Gilbert was born in Fairfax, MO. He has 13 years of experience in Missouri schools. Dr. Gilbert earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and taught science in the classroom. He went on to earn a Masters in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum, a Education Specialist, and ended by completing a Doctor of Education degree.

Dr. Gilbert lives in Nevada with his wife, Whitney, who is a special education teacher here at Rich Hill; his daughter, Emelia, who is in 6th grade; two dogs (Bo and Moose); and two cats, Wednesday and Pugsley.
