MSTA (Missouri State Teachers Association) has recognized Amanda Erickson as one of the 2022 Unsung Heroes of MSTA recipients. This award recognizes teachers who have made a substantive yet unrecognized contribution to MSTA and their mission to advocate for and empower public educators so they can teach. Recipients are admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Mrs. Erickson is in her twelfth year of teaching 4th grade here at Rich Hill R-IV and says, "I love standing in front of my students watching the light bulbs in their little minds flicker on. My goal for 2023 is to successfully transition into the role of a mom/working professional." Congratulations, Amanda!
