Subject: Unbelievable

I am writing to you to let you know that yes we came and played and yes we helped you guys have your senior night and all that and we were happy to do that.  We believe senior nights are special for each and every kid....it is my favorite night as a coach.

BUT...and please post this part to any and all places you want.

I was so unbelievably impressed with your players, your booster club, and your fans.  I am 47 years old and I have been coaching since I was 23.  I have been to what seems like a thousand senior nights between basketball, baseball, and softball.  Never in all those years have I seen opposing kids recognized on senior night.  That gesture was amazing.  Absolutely amazing!!!!!!

Then, after that, as I take my seniors out for their last game, your fans stand up and cheer for them the same way they did for your own seniors.  INCREDIBLE display from people that do not even know my kids.  I promise you I have been bragging about it all morning and our fans, parents, and kids were so impressed by that.  In today's society that stuff just does not happen anymore.

I was also impressed that your players thanked us, coaches thanked us, and in reality they did not need to, but they did.  Just wanted to let you all know that from one old coach, I greatly appreciate those parts of the game that are seldom seen anymore.  So from all of the Montrose Bluejays players, fans, parents, and administration....THANK YOU.

Yours in Sports,

Scott White
