The athletic department is starting 2019 with a bang and we want everyone to be a part of the action! Please join us for two special events this week as basketball games resume at home.
On Wednesday, January 2nd we will host Adrian and combine forces to support Jessica's Journey. Wear your orange to show support and come prepared to participate in the fundraising efforts the basketball teams have put together. There is a slight schedule change with the girls team currently unable to play a full JV game due to injuries. The evening will begin at 5:00 with 2 quarters of JV girls, 2 quarters JV boys, V girls, and V boys.
Friday, January 4th will be another busy night as we take on Osceola. Several RHHS graduates will be honored for their athletic achievements as the newest class of Wall of Honor members are inducted, the 1997 State Champion track team is honored, and Shelley Seider Davis is recognized for the Wynn Award she received from the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. The first contest of the night will begin at 4:30 to accommodate the ceremony that will take place after the Varsity girls game. The format will be 2 quarters JV girls, 2 quarters JV boys, V girls, V boys.
