Rich Hill R-IV School District
Rich Hill R-IV is a K-12 school district located in Rich Hill, MO, approximately 70 miles south of Kansas City on 71 Highway. About 400 students are enrolled in the district.
Since August 2002, the Rich Hill R-IV school district maintains a one-site education campus with a new high school facility adjoining the existing elementary building. Prior to occupation of the new high school in August 2002, the Bryant High School was the oldest high school still being used in Missouri. Its use in educating children spans three centuries.
The district has a well-known reputation for athletic excellence. In 1997 Rich Hill captured the MO 1-A Boys' State Track Championship, in 1999 the MO 1-A State Football Championship, and in 2003 and 2004 the MO 1-A Girls' State Track Championship. Fierce Tiger pride follows each team.
